From the point and shoot to the SLR

I've been thinking a lot lately about what brand and SLR model I should get. There's so many different features, brands, models and prices that seem too overwhealming.

I'm taking this digital photography class that doesen't really ask for a specific camera, although it is encouraged to have a digital SLR to gain more quality for prints. And of course I still work with one of those point and shoot cameras as I go. There's nothing wrong with them, but I need to step it up a higher level.

We still haven't taken any photographs in class, were tampering a bit with photoshop CS4, but eventually we'll need to produce material of our own instead of using outside resources.

I'll see how it goes on, there's usualyl a lot of package deals on SLR's, so I'll just have to wait and decide finally which model I'm buying to start working with higher resolution images.

Well, you don't have to be embarresed about not uploading many, although you were here for sometime, frankly, it's better not to upload if you are not satisfied what you wanted to upload.

By the way, with your two photos you have many watchers, but, I have seen profiles with 100s of photos only one or two watchers. So, don't you worry, and take your time uploading.

Just by looking at these two, I would say you got the right face, and the correct postures, so why not try out more shots!

I would always be here watching you and will let you know truly how I feel about them!

As, you have promised me, I am waiting to see more of you this week, yes, I am excited!

Haha, thanks for the support, but as I told Lala, I haven't really done anything that I consider to be deviant art worthy. I'd like to make something a little more than just a portrait. And somehow I can't seem to be able to get out of that box. But I'll post something soon, just wait ti'll I get my muse worked up xD

=) thanks I always write small stuff cause after a wile if you write to LONG it loses the feeling you try to give it. I haven not taken a writing composition class so i try to stick with what im good at =).

Il keep making them. I have a few books full with words and poems ive done i just have to upload them =)

And yea i know what you mean i havent uploaded much portraits cause of that same reason.

But your really artistic so dont worry something good will come out =)
